What Causes Hair Loss?

More than 95 percent of all hair loss in men and women is due to a condition known as androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness. This condition is caused by the production of a hormone known as Dihydrotestosterone or DHT. DHT binds to hair follicles that are genetically predisposed to suffer from hair loss, gradually suppressing and miniaturising the hair and eventually shrinking and deteriorating the hair follicle.

What is Revivogen and how does it work?

Revivogen is a system of products made from natural active ingredients that are applied directly to the hair and scalp. Revivogen allows the hair follicles to rejuvenate and produce thicker and stronger hair, creating the appearance of full and healthy hair.

Does Revivogen have any systemic side effects?

No, not when used as directed. The active ingredients of Revivogen are made from all‐natural active compounds that have a long history of oral and topical use. Temporary mild scalp irritation has been reported in less than 2% of users and some people may experience minor redness or itching.

What kind of results should I expect?

After four to five weeks of using Revivogen, you should see a significant decrease in hair loss and notice a difference in how your hair looks and feels. After three to four months of use, your hair should look fuller and denser. With continued use, your hair should stay healthy and continue to improve.

Does Revivogen work for women?

Yes. We have many satisfied female customers. Surprisingly, in most cases, the cause of hair loss for women is the same as for men. While estrogen helps to protect the hair follicle from the destructive effects of DHT, many women develop thinning hair and hair loss due to estrogen level fluctuations and/or overproduction of DHT. Revivogen may help protect the hair follicle from DHT, resulting in thicker, fuller, healthier hair.

Does Revivogen work on all hair types?

Yes. Hair loss in both men and women is commonly due to the production of DHT, which affects all hair types. As Revivogen may help protect the hair follicle from DHT, it helps create full and healthy hair for all hair types, regardless of ethnic or genetic background.

How is Revivogen used?

Revivogen is applied directly to the affected area and surrounding areas of the scalp at least once a day. It is best to avoid washing your hair for at least three hours after application to allow the scalp to absorb the active ingredients. Revivogen can be applied at any time during the day but most people prefer to use it at night before going to bed.

Can I use other hair care products or colour my hair while using Revivogen?

Yes. You can use other hair care products while using Revivogen, including hair colour and styling products. However, if you wish to use additional topical treatments such as Rogaine® (Minoxidil), you must apply them at least three hours after using Revivogen to prevent any interference with the absorption of Revivogen's active ingredients.

How long do I need to use Revivogen for?

Because your body will continue to produce DHT you will need to continue to use Revivogen. However, once you achieve the desired results, you will be able to decrease the frequency of use to 3 to 5 times a week.

Can I use Revivogen with Rogaine® and/or Propecia® ?

Yes. Revivogen is made from all natural ingredients that have no side effects and do not react with other medications, including Rogaine® and Propecia®. You can safely use Revivogen with other medications.

I recently had hair transplants. Can I use Revivogen?

Yes. While transplanted hair should be resistant to the destructive effects of DHT, the hair follicles surrounding the transplanted area may still be genetically susceptible to DHT. By protecting these hair follicles from the harmful effects of DHT, with Revivogen, you are preventing further loss and minimising the need for additional transplants.

What are atrophied hair follicles?

If left untreated, DHT can eventually permanently destroy hair follicles, which is called atrophy. Atrophied hair follicles are replaced by scar tissue, leaving the scalp area bare and shiny. Atrophied hair follicles do not respond to any product or medication.

Can Revivogen rejuvenate the atrophied hair follicles?

Unfortunately, after the hair follicle has atrophied it is permanently lost and there are no products or medications available to rejuvenate the hair follicles. At this stage, the only option is hair transplant, which is why we recommend you use Revivogen as soon as you notice hair loss or thinning to protect your hair from further miniaturisation or damage.

Do I need to use a special shampoo while using Revivogen?

We recommend using Revivogen Bio-Cleansing Shampoo to add body and thickness to your hair. This specially designed shampoo reinforces the effects of Revivogen Scalp Therapy by removing sebum and DHT from the scalp and creating a healthy environment for hair growth.

Revivogen products are shipped discretely in plain or shipper supplied boxes without any logos or markings indicating the contents. The shipper on the label is Advanced Skin and Hair, Inc.
